June brings the end of another amazing year for the DFW AMA. We are doing something special this month to celebrate our success and to thank the wonderful volunteers that have worked so hard to make our chapter one of the best in the country. All volunteers that have contributed to our committees, from programs, membership, sponsorship, research, volunteers and communications/pr, will attend the June luncheon as our guest. We will also do a quick review of the 2009/2010 chapter term and look ahead to the next 12 months.

Our presentation this month will be a departure from our traditional CMO/Marketing focus. This will be a special presentation that just might change your life!

Biography

David Lesh, a Dallas entrepreneur, started Dale Dental, a leading medical device manufacturing company, in January 2000. David is also an author of over 50 consumer technologies articles including coverage of the famous Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Passionate about technology and social media David started a new social medial think tank with the aim of fully understanding this exciting new media and the ways it can be tailored to meet the needs of 21^st century businesses.

In August 2008, David decided to find better balance, make change and document his 39th year of life. David gained deep personal insight and growth, found surprises, captured lasting memories and was moved by self-inflicted life-changing events. David now enjoys sharing his experience with others through his Picture Your Life presentation.

David’s hobbies and interests include his family of his wife Leora and their three daughters. When not with the family, David is devoting time to reviewing consumer technologies, studying online business models and the study and implication of user generated content in the business world. In addition, David enjoys vacationing with friends and family, playing golf, playing chess and a day of Bass fishing.
