Biography
Jim Bryson is Founder and Chairman of 20/20 Research,
Inc. 20/20 Research is a
qualitative research firm began in 1986.
Since that time, the company has expanded to include offices in
Nashville, Charlotte and Miami.
Those focus group facilities have annually been “Top Rated” among focus
group facilities worldwide.
Jim was instrumental in the development of the QualBoardTM
online research methodology and software that debuted in 2000. The continued online research emphasis
has enabled 20/20 Research to become one of the foremost online qualitative
research firms in the world with current capabilities in 13 languages.
20/20 Research has received numerous awards for quality and
growth. The company’s qualitative
facilities are annually named “Top Rated” by the Impulse Survey. 20/20 Research has twice been named a “Music
City Future Fifty” company as one of the fifty fastest growing companies in
Middle Tennessee. Most recently,
20/20 Research was named to the 2007 “Hot 100” list of one hundred hottest

Jim has been very active in the qualitative research industry. He has personally moderated over 2000
focus groups and in-depth interviews.
Jim served three terms as President of the Qualitative Research
Consultant’s Association, a worldwide association of qualitative research
professionals. Among other initiatives
during his tenure, the association established a forward-looking strategic
planning process, started a new trade magazine, initiated an international
qualitative conference in Paris and instituted a new branding campaign.
