Bob Kowynia is a professional marketer with extensive experience orchestrating complex, multi-media consumer and trade campaigns in the US and Canada. He has planned and implemented diverse national, regional and local programs while on the client and agency-side giving him a unique perspective on ways to improve: client/agency communications, collaboration, program efficiency, effectiveness and ROI.
Bob has a passion for marketing and commitment to continuous improvement which he has leveraged through the planning and implementation process. He founded Transformative Consulting to help clients improve ROI.
Prior to Transformative Consulting, Bob spent 15 years as head of advertising for the $1.5 Billion Lennox Industries Residential HVAC unit. He managed an 8-digit department budget for US and Canadian consumer and trade advertising, creative production, PR, marketing programs, promotions and trade shows. Other corporate experience includes Manager, Corporate and Marketing Communications at Ericsson Telecommunication and Project Manager, Sales Promotion Gillette Co. – Personal Care Division.
His ad agency experience includes Agency Management and Account Service positions with Dallas shops McKone & Company, TM/Bozell & Jacobs, Publicis/The Bloom Agency and Chicago agency Lee King & Partners. While at these agencies he developed marketing plans and advertising programs for diverse categories such as building materials, cosmetics, banks, retail jewelry chains, processed meat products, snack foods and soft drinks. While VP, General Manager at McKone, it was twice named one of Adweek’s “Top 10 Southwest Ad Agencies”.
Kowynia holds a BA in Psychology from Lewis University and an MBA in Marketing from Loyola University, Chicago – Graduate School of Business.
