This session covers the basics of what email marketing is, why it works so well, and how to use it in your business planning and strategy to achieve specific goals. Topics include:

Targeting techniques, How to avoid spam, tips for scheduling, content choices based on your business objectives, how to get your email promotions and updates opened, how to position the value of your message so that recipients will act on it, how to measure the impact of a campaign and samples of successful email campaigns and how they are set up to build business and drive sales. Note: Participants do not need to be Constant Contact customers to attend.

 
All information provided can be applied regardless of the system or service you are using for Email Marketing.

Speaker Julie Niehoff

 Julie Niehoff has more than fifteen years in communications, specializing in technology marketing. In her role as Development Director at Constant Contact, Julie facilitates seminars and workshops for small business and organizations around the state of Texas. Julie was formerly Director of Interactive Marketing for the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau. She later launched her own successful consulting business and co-founded an online resource website for event planners. Her primary focus is on helping small businesses, associations and other organizations incorporate technology into their marketing plans, finding creative, affordable, effective strategies for building strong relationships with their customers and member base.
 
Julie is a member of Meeting Professionals International, National Speakers Association, Texas Travel Industry Association, Association of Fundraising Professionals and serves on the Board of Directors for Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations.
