Biography

Paula Asinof, Founder of Yellow Brick Path

Paula Asinof is a broadly experienced career management executive, authority on resumes, and founder of Yellow Brick Path, a career coaching, consulting and resume services firm. She has been a catalyst for accelerating or redirecting numerous careers by helping successful executives and professionals move up or move on to their next career opportunities.

Paula is known for helping clients become more focused, articulate, and energized as a result of her resume “makeover” process. Clients appreciate the depth of her “real world” executive experience in major corporations, career services, and executive search. She has a contagious enthusiasm and passionate belief in people that inspires them to become prouder, stronger, and more valuable contributors to their organizations.

In addition to founding Yellow Brick Path, Paula is a co-founder of Coach Academy Texas, a cutting-edge coach training program. Her background includes 10 years of executive search recruiting as well as serving as Director of Career Services for Sanford-Brown Institute where she received the President’s Leadership Award. Earlier, Paula held leadership positions in Information Technology and Finance with GTE (now Verizon), Rand McNally, and the Midwest Stock Exchange. She began her career in public accounting with Laventhol & Horwath CPAs.

Paula holds an MBA from The Wharton School, an MA from Columbia University, and a BA from Washington University. She has been awarded the prestigious designation of Credentialed Career Manager (CCM) for career professionals who are leaders in the industry and today is held by less than 50 people worldwide. She is also an NLP Practitioner, a Certified NLP Coach (NLPC), and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). She has served on the Boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas/Dallas County and the Friends of the Katy Trail, an urban thoroughfare in Dallas. Her articles on career management have appeared in the business and local press, and she is a frequent speaker at professional organizations. She is co-author of a book, BE SHARP: “Tell Me About Yourself” in Great Introductions and Professional Bios.

Pamela Teagarden, Founder of Teagarden Group

Informative, relevant, cathartic and entertaining describe Pamela Teagarden’s style of coaching and presenting entrepreneurial solutions to corporate problems. Her background as a CPA in concert with her experience and studies in behavioral psychology, change management and training give her clients the whole picture. Pamela can speak to the ‘bottom line’ of anything she does, and gives her clients an understanding of how their personal changes will aid in profit-making activities.

In her experience, Pamela has:

Worked as consultant on successful mergers, including the largest merger in history

Measured, assessed and designed culture change programs

Developed change initiatives, such as diversity and culture shifts

      Created talent management processes

Created corporate universities and leadership curriculums

Coached top and middle level executives in companies of all sizes

She is praised for her enthusiasm, her love of people, her willingness and ability to listen as well as her readiness to innovate.

Pamela’s own career has been global. She has lived in Moscow, London and Dallas, and her work has allowed her to travel to nearly every country around the globe. That ex-patriate view of the world and her experience with global clients has given her a real sense of what diversity and culture clashes require. She has aligned with companies and people to insure that every project or tool she uses can be customized to the global needs of the client. Not at all surprisingly, there are very few companies, now, that do not have some global reach in their business, their products or their customers.

She is an author and contributor to books and articles, including “Get Ahead by Going Abroad”. Pamela also founded a blog for women at www.intheladiesroom.net.
