Mike Kassab is Senior Vice President of Innovation for GfK Custom Research North America. GfK is a leading global market research and consulting company offering diversified marketing services to a wide range of US based and global firms. In his role for GfK, Mike works on corporate strategy and capabilities development, company acquisitions, and creation of new products and services.
As a consumer research consultant, Mike has assisted many brands in the development of innovative marketing solutions to help them achieve their growth strategies and objectives. His research consulting teams have employed a range of qualitative, ethnographic, and quantitative research methods to uncover important consumer insights that are used to shape innovation programs for his clients. Key focal points for innovation have been brand positioning, new market/category definition, new products and services development, as well as other types of marketing innovations (technology, pricing, and services delivery) throughout the consumer decision cycle. Mike and team have also created new methods for consumer experience modeling used directly in the innovations process.
GfK innovation clients include a large set of leading US based and multinational firms across a range of sectors, including: consumer packaged goods, technology, retail, financial services, media, and automotive.
Peter Wilkins, Creative Director, Arbor Strategy Group
Peter brings an innate curiosity and eclectic past (in advertising, marketing, and psychology) to GfK’s strategic innovation consulting practice.
As the Creative Director in a consultancy that lives at the intersection of business strategy; consumer insights; the prediction of next generation innovation; and creativity/design, he is in a unique position to help clients sustain growth through integrated business solutions.
At GfK Strategic Innovation, Peter manages client relationships and his contributions to projects run the gamut from facilitating early-stage consumer insight work; to the design and facilitation of ideation sessions; to back-end concept development/ optimization.
