Programs
The DFW Chapter is only as good as its ongoing mix of programs and events. We have committees to help organize monthly luncheons in Dallas and Fort Worth, Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and Special Events.

New Media – Special Interest Group – Assistant Director (1 opening)
Be a part of this leading edge group! Get involved with the SIG events from start to finish with the help of other members of this exciting committee. This is the volunteer position to learn all about what happens behind-the-scenes – a great experience you can take with you! For more details, contact John Gerrits or Melissa Meeker.

Special Interest Groups - Leadership and volunteer positions are available in our nine SIGs. For more information contact EVP SIGs John Gerrits at john.gerrits@hotmail.com.

Dallas Executive Luncheons - needed now - be a part of the team that organizes the Dallas flagship executive luncheons featuring CMO level speakers. Contact EVP Executive Luncheons - Marla Reeder at marla@mckinleyinc.com.

Special Events and Marketer of the Year - key positions are available on the Special Events team in charge of the Marketer of the Year event. Come join this exciting team! Contact EVP Special Events Ashley Claborn for all the scoop at specialevents@dfwama.com.
 Communications
The Communications committee is responsible for setting the marketing strategy for the chapter and then executing various tactical activities to drive awareness, event attendance, membership, and all internal and external contact with the DFW business community. This group is charged with helping "connect" with chapter members and prospective members, oversees the chapter website as well as generating a monthly e-newsletter, weekly emails, chapter promotional tools, public relations, social media, mobile messages and event announcements as needed.

Needed Now - People with public relations experience to help propose strategies and implement activities promoting the chapter and its members and events. Contact EVP Communications Melinda Bentley at mbentley@tscpa.net for more information.

Sponsorships
The chapter operates on income from chapter dues and events, but it's real potential to deliver exceptional speakers, programs and learning opportunities lies with donations and sponsorship dollars from DFW businesses, organizations and corporations. What's more, as a fully registered 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, the DFW AMA Chapter can provide to sponsors a fully tax-deductible statement that can be applied to the bottom-line.

Needed Now - People with strong selling and communication skills to communicate the value of the AMA to potential sponsors. Also need people in account management-type role to ensure sponsors are receiving their promised benefits. Contact EVP Sponsorship Melissa Bourestom at melissabourestom@gmail.com for more details.
Membership
Membership Development Team. This team represents the DFW AMA to local companies and encourages them to become active members. If you are a strong believer in the value of the DFW AMA then this is the team for you. This prestigious team, lead by Robert Hunt, CMO for U.S. Leadership, will be the most fun you’ve ever had volunteering for anything (according to Robert). Email Robert at RobertJhunt2010@gmail.com if you are interested in joining this exciting Membership team!

Needed Now - Member Managers. If you are an AMA member and would like to use your customer service experience to help improve member retention by communicating the value of membership, we are looking for 4-6 volunteers for these positions. This would be a great fit for someone who prefers to communicate through the phone or email. (1-2 hours per month)

Director, Prospect Services - Contacts prospects for membership who have requested information, attended events, or otherwise been identified to provide information and support.  You just need to be aware of what our membership offers and be able to let people know how to enroll.  This person would also have two Prospect Advocates to help share the effort but they don’t get the cool title (first come first serve on the titles.)

Director, Corporate Membership - Contact companies in the DFW area to let them know of our group and the value of their employees being members and coming to events.  Again you need to know the value proposition of the DFW AMA and be able to let the CMO of Marketing know why they should get their team involved.  This person will have two Corporate Advocates to help connect with companies and they too will not have as cool of a title.

Corporate Membership Volunteer (2 needed) - Use your sales/marketing expertise for short term call campaigns. Contact, build relationships and secure corporate memberships. Work as much or as little as you have time for. Leads provided.

Prospect Managers (1-2 needed) - Contact prospective individual members regarding the great benefits of DFWAMA membership. Short term call campaigns. Leads provided.

Executive Director

Needed Now - Check in Team. Shelly Reed the chapter's Check In Team Director is forming a solid committee to provide a consistent team to greet and check in attendees at all Chapter events. We currently have two great members of this team, but need 4 more superstars to commit to working JUST TWO events per month. How easy is that? (4-6 hours per month). Contact Shelly at srr159@gmail.com.

Collegiate Relations
Our Collegiate Relations Committee works to form an alliance between student AMA members and the professional chapter during a student's tenure in school and after their graduation into the professional ranks. We do this by offering support to collegiate chapter leaders and members, and by encouraging the students to participate in professional chapter programs throughout the year. Contact EVP Collegiate Benjamin Smithee at ben@spychresearch.com if you are interested in helping to shape the future of aspiring marketing professionals.

Volunteers
The Volunteer Committee is responsible for volunteer recruitment, retention, and satisfaction. As such it plays matchmaker by casting volunteers in roles where they can excel by working with Board Members to make sure all of our committees are fully staffed. It also manages volunteer appreciation while meeting all of the new members, and those who just wish to help out in our Chapter.

Volunteer Relationship Manager (1-2 openings) - Various activities designed to maintain and enhance relationships with volunteers throughout their tenure. Committee meetings required.

Database Manager - Manages chapter database, communicates regularly with committee heads and works closely with EVP. Committee meetings required.

Communications Coordinator - Manages open volunteer positions, including promotion of them. Committee meetings required.
